I always struggled to adapt to the typical “Car Guy mentality”. I grew up in a small town working in my mom's gas station where small-town values were embedded in my mentality from an early age. These two values run completely opposite to one another. If you believe as I believe, the future of our business will depend on our ability to adapt to these small-town values, where everyone on your team is working together in concert instead of tearing one another down.
